Students

 

 

For doing the task, the students have to follow the next steps.

 

Before introduce the topic, teachers will show a sketch to students and he will ask them "what is the best way to get to a particular place in the sketch" in this case he located himself far a way from his destination. in that way he will engage the students attention.

 

 

At the begining, students watch an interesting video showing the importance of giving directions in a proper way.

 

 

The teacher will provide the vocabulary reffer to Directions.

 

 

Then, students have to choose a couple in order to develop the activity.

 

Once the student have chosen a pair they have to work together and also they will select one of the sketch given for the teacher 

 

Student A and B

 

A: He/she first they will answer the teacher's questions about directions through the map.

 

B: He/she will answer the teacher's questions too, by using the vocabulary given for teacher.

 

The students will describe different locations in the sketch through different way or state in the map.

 

 

Then, both students A and B will change the roles, first A will ask in polite words what is the best way to get a specific place using the sketch choosen before,B will describe how to get to into that place, after that student B will change role wit student A and vis versa.

 

 

 

When students have finish to describe directions in the sketch, they will draw a map from their town.

 

After that, they will draw a short map from their town and also they will create a dialoge in which they will help their couple how to get to a specific place by using the vocabulary given before.

 

 

Student A first he/she  will ask for one location and how to go there if he/she is located in a specific place.

 

Student B will give the correct directions to the lost person (A).

 

 

Then, they will change the rules and vis versa.

 

 

 

 

The followed activity will be evaluate.
